Test Campaign

Once you’ve completed the wizard and believe the campaign is ready, it is recommended that you Test the campaign. Here is the recommended process for Testing a Campaign prior to launch.

1. Identify 2-5 people to help you test the campaign (staff, potential Ambassadors, consultants).
2. Use the orange ADD MANUALLY button to add their names and emails and add them as a test Ambassadors.
3. When ready to test, click the green TEST CAMPAIGN button. This will send the campaign (in test mode) to all the Ambassadors currently added (or you can click on the boxes and select specific people to send the test email to).
4. Once you click the TEST CAMPAIGN button, the test Ambassadors will receive the Initial Invitation Email that you composed in the Ambassador Setup section. Encourage them to review the entire campaign from start to finish – from Ambassador Landing Page to playing the role of the Prospect and claiming the code and clicking the link to redirect to the Registration page.

5. Gather all the feedback from your testing team and edit and finalize your campaign. Once you are satisfied with the campaign (both strategy and format), then you are ready to launch your campaign.

Launch Campaign

To Launch a campaign, you may want to clear out the Test Ambassadors. Then follow these final steps:

1. Upload your potential Ambassador List using the ADD MANUALLY or the Camp Tree CSV file. Click HERE to view our video on downloading, populating and uploading the CSV file.
2. Once all Ambassador names are uploaded, you can choose specific names or send to all by clicking the LAUNCH CAMPAIGN button.
3. Launching the campaign will clear out all the Test data and start from a clean slate.
4. The campaign is now ACTIVE and running. The initial Invitation Email is sent out to the Ambassadors you chose to send to.
5. Going forward, you will continue to market the campaign using the Public Link (found on the Launch Page and the Ambassador Setup). You are now marketing to your potential Ambassadors and the Camp Tree app is managing and tracking your campaign. Congratulations!

View and Filter Invited Ambassadors

All invited Ambassadors can be viewed and managed at the bottom of the Launch tab.

• Search: Use the Search by Name section to quickly find an Ambassador.
• Delete: To delete an Ambassador (not recommended unless you are sure you don’t want them to be a part of this campaign), click the small box to the left of the Ambassador name and then click the red DELETE button.
• Filter: Use the FILTER dropdown to sort the Ambassador list by All, Unsent, Invited and and Joined status.

Here are the columns in the Launch Ambassador list:

• Name: The first and last name of the Ambassador uploaded to the Launch page.
• Sends: This number indicates how many times the Initial Invitation Email has been sent to this Ambassador.
• Join Status: This term indicates if the Ambassador status is Unsent, Invited, or Joined.
• Email Status: This column indicates if/when an Ambassador clicked the Invite link in the Ambassador Initial Invitation Email.
• Actions: Click the pencil to edit the name and contact information of the Ambassador. Click the red trashcan to delete the Ambassador (and any of their actions/relationships/rewards). Deleting an Ambassador will remove their contribution/status from this campaign.
